Got a new motor!

My old 1.4S clio decided to pack in completely.. We couldnt get it started, or figure out what was wrong with it, so instead of spending any more money on it, I managed to find a minter of an RT on ebay.. It was advertised locally so I gave the woman a ring and asked if i could come look at it.

My dad took me down to Stoke (from lancs) to look at the car, and i came back with it the same night.

Its an R reg, 1.4RT, in green, has all the trick bits, leccy sunroof/windows/mirrors, has also got 15" alloys, been lowered 40mm and has a 3" exhuast system, done 91k, and i got it all for £700..

So far its been mint, ive only had it a couple of days, booked in for its MOT on monday morning. There are a couple of rattles and squeeks that need seeing to, but apart from that its a minter. Ill post some pics when i get some in the daylight.

Now i just need my GF to sort out and send off for the club membership and ill be wearing my Cliosport sticker with pride!

Its a little dirty, as it was snowing last night (yes.. snowing!) and the gritters have been out, i only washed it yesterday as well :| looks like another wash today

small dint in drivers side wing, but apart from that, body is mint.

Sure theres not an impreza turbo engine lurking under there? have you checked?

yeah im chuffed to bits with that, the clutch is really stiff, but ive been told its a fault with the pedal on most mk1 clios? my last one snapped the clutch cable 3 times.

Im keeping it subtle, the only changes im making to the outside is a new set of wheels and a new exhuast system..

other than that im happy with the way it looks. Inside needs some work, possibly williams interior but i havent decided, i still gotta pay my dad off for it

nah the bonnet vent is staying, its not that big and it gives the bonnet a nice break, otherwise looks plain
