they fit which is also a bonus! it handles again now as well - long story but all is good and im happy again

BY the way I love H&R

Where did you get them from matey and how much were they. I would love a set of 16-17" F1 Cups on my Mk1 172. I love the style of them and my standard 15" arent big enough.

I did not see any significant difference when changing from 16's to 17's - I know everyone goes on about tramlining etc but it tramlined on 16's its just a bit amplified at times now but still quite manageable. Plus with the added appearance of the car with 17's it was well worth it in my eyes.
I dont take the car on track etc so for fast road use I think they are perfectly acceptable.

yeah went on thursday - got £200 for them. they were mint but the PCD was a bit funny. When I bought them I got them off a club member but 2 of them were buckled. Anyway Mille Miglia did not have any or were not making any in the near future so eventually managed to track down 2 wheels that were 4x98 instead of the renault fitment of 4x100. They fitted with special bolts called wobbly bolts - sounded a bit dodgy but they work. So I was never very keen on keeping them and could not have gotmuch for them second hand.
Managed to sell them to a local kid for his girlfriends clio - he works in a tyre shop so gets tyres cheap so all cool.
