Got my washers to fix struts!

lift the bonnet and unscrew the strut top mounts, pop the washer on and redo job done

they basically give extra clearance so the tops don't catch

I've heard about people doing this washer trick but thought it was a strut off job or something

What noise does it eliminate ?

you get a clunking noise when turning on full lock/close to full lock as the strut top fouls the turret, one fix is to angle grind some of the turret away, the other is to add the washer for extra clearance
