Got myself some Toyo’s and a AP22 :D

Well the AP22 if off e-bay - I couldnt resist it (credit card:() so I should get it this week. Roll on some times!!!

Got 4 new Toyos 195/50 R15 fitted on saturday - Heres what I think (if you care;)) so far:

The Bad - The Williams is far less composed over bumpy roads than with the 185s, I took it along my favorite road - I can sit at 105mph on the 185s but on the 195s I didnt feel safe over 90mph. Far more bumps felt though the car also

The Ugly - They dont fill the arches as well as the 185s

The Good - now the coating seems to be wearing off the grip is better also the feeling of the road surface - found the 185s a bit floaty! Its less composed but seems to have more grip and less roll but more the way I like a hot hatch - a bit more raw!:D

I had Michs on when I got it so I dont really know how much the differences are down to the make or the size but its kinda what I expected! The Toyos get my thumbs up so far!

wait till you use them in the wet..

I couldnt put any power down in the wet before i got the Toyos, now I can floor it and only get minimal wheelspin.

LOL Daz - I had Yoko A539s on my last car - I was the slowest thing on the road in the wet - they have to be better than that! My 2 rears were both 1.6 on the old Mich tyres so it was a lot or unwanted rear end action too with the Willie.;)

Carlos, you didnt buy it from a bloke called dickpearceuk who was claiming that it was a GPS device by any chance? If you did, he was a w**ker, but you got it for a great price!

No Daz, its not just you, mine arent good at all in the wet, especially if you hit standing water  Stick with the Michelins i say. Michelins are dear but they work well, They can cost almost double the Proxes, but they are what im getting next time (Exaltos).
