2,3 and 4 were the same on mine - sorted it all in 2 hrs the day I picked it up!

Drivers side adjuster was out - garage did it for free - free clock and leccy switch too from the scrappies - waited 10 mins to pay no-one shows - f**k em!

Excellent. 16Vs/Willys are a bit of a pain sometimes and can cost a lot to run, but theyre worth every penny. If youre local to Weston/Bristol Id suggest you call into Renatec for a checkover. Try Hillpower, BB Tuning or Infinicar otherwise.

I used to live in Bristol but even though Ive now moved to Wales, I still take my car to Renatec as I dont know anyone else Id trust. There are loads of bits specific to the 16V/Willy (like the auxillary belt adjuster) that need to be done by someone whos seen them before or theyll break it. Happened on my 16V with a couple of bits. Not like these cars are Ford Escorts and any fool can service them! Dont worry - you can service the 16V yourself, but make sure youve read the Haynes Bible beforehand to be sure!

When I got my Williams I took it straight to Renatec who changed the oil and gave it a full checkover for £80. Money well spent as I now know exactly what needs doing in the coming months.
