GPS Speed camera detection

  500bhp Scoob

hello all,

i am considering investing a bit of my hard earned cash on a GPS camera warning system, i.e a pocketpc with tomtom installed.

Anyone got any ideas or any cheap places that sell bundles.

what system u running night.icon?

a dedicated gps system like a road angel, or the pocketpc with tomtom? and how much it set u back

For GPS camera detection, Origin B2 is best by far.

For sat nav, you want a PDA and TomTom. I have one of these, you can get free speed camera overlays, but these are way outa date and poorly designed to say the least

Im running http://www.trafcam.com/trafcam on my palmpilot.

They also do a version for pocketpc aswell.

Trafcam costs £50 to buy then its £50 a year on top to keep getting the database updates. Of course youd need to shell out for the PocketPC and GPS unit on top.

The database is updated very regularly and its pretty accurate.

Plus with a PDA you can use it for satnav, and as a PDA as well.

i use a road angel & so far cant fault it at all. it also has a laser alert so can pick up sneaky mobile cameras & cops hidin at the side of the road. use to have an older model snooper & it was sh*t, it picked up the cameras as i passed thru em without any warnin as i approaced them gps is def by far the best.

I use a Snooper S4 Neo and it works great.

As it talks to you there is no need to look at it.

Also includes laser detection.

Gets Gatso,Specs,Truvelo and all other fixed systems.

It can also be transferred from vehicle to vehicle much easier than the S6 Neo.

Got mine from Edworthys http://www.edworthys.co.ukwww.edworthys.co.uk for £274.99

Works with the renault windscreen if you place it in the clear spot.

Good luck avoiding the sneaky coppers!
