+1 I hate the kartsThe kart racing on championship are annoying as s**t making it through 4 : 5 races to clip a corner and completely screw you over.

Is this on PS3/4?
@///Munson Did you use a pad or wheel? I find GT virtually impossible to enjoy playing it with a pad, a wheel improves the game ten fold imo.
I'm using a pad but I am planning to get my wheel setup soon. For me it's great with the pad, so should be even better with a wheel.
PS3.
I've quite enjoyed my last few goes on it. Done quite a few races in an old yellow Camaro after watching too much Roadkill on YouTube.
Found out that upgrading to the fully customisable transmission automatically makes my H pattern Shifter useless though which made me think something was broken. :what:
Anyone got any idea if it's going to turn up on PS4? Or are we having to wait until 2020 for GT7?
Strange, the only time the H pattern shifter doesn't work is when using cars that have 7 speeds or are only available in automatic ( R35 GT-R is like this ), in an old Camaro you should be fine:S
I wish I hadn't given my PS3 away so soon, at the moment all I've got is War Thunder and Battlefield.
Need all the standard-issue PS* titles: Streetfighter, Soul Caliber, Tekken, GT, Fallout/Elder Scrolls
Until they start turning up, it's just a pretty iPlayer box. PS3, at this time, is a superior product, esp. with its media streaming powers...and 4OD
Pretty sure it does it for any car when you do fully customisable transmission, although not tried any others yet personally - http://www.gtplanet.net/forum/threads/am-i-the-only-one.293741/
Have just ended up mounting both the H pattern and Sequential to my seat at the same time instead of swapping them over like I was before. Much easier to swap the plug than unbolting a load of stuff.
Edit: Reading further down the page on that thread it only affects standard cars.

I race karts in real life, and when you understand how fragile you have to be on the steering and every tiny input has a large outcome you do understand karts a lot more in the game.
I found the karts in gt5 were a little off? These are a little better but still not perfect.
You can smash/launch the kerbs in real life without spinning which you can't do all the time in the game which is a bad point. When you master the kart (in game) you can do anything you want with them and put them where you want without having any problems.
I used to spend about 3 hours every night with my mates from real life karting but now my ps3's dead..
People can say all they want about this game...but theres not many better feelings in a racing game than driving on the nurburgring in the afternoon sun in a decent car in GT6 imo...they have the course spot on now and it looks stunning with the improved lighting...god only knows what GT7 on PS4 will look like!
They look really flat in comparison to Forza and other GT photos.
Might just be me, im not sure on how to use the camera settings properly yet so those pics are just point & shoot haha
I respectfully disagree, Polyphony Digital aren't really a small team. I understand they currently have some 175+ people working on content and the next version (with a large proportion of that number being the core development and art teams). Fingers crossed GT7 will be a bit special.( also probably to help get GT7 finished as PD is a pretty small company ) .

Amazon have been selling it for £20 for some time now....
It is a big improvement over GT5.... The handling is a lot better especially if you are using a wheel and pedal setup.
