Just thought i would share with you my uncles lastest purchase. I personally think he is a bit greedy. As he now owns the Focus RS, the Mondeo ST220, and the cossie.

How many fast fords do you think he wants! Id be happy with one!

I dont know how big his garage is, as he just moved house. The cossie is currently sat on my dads drive, as he is looking after it while my uncle settles in.

So we take it out at the weekends and blast the hell out of it, its still being run in from the last rebuild my uncle did. But once its set up and the boost turned up it should put out about 440bhp i think.

The focus isnt standard either. It used to be damon hills or something. Its got £2k of mongoose exhaust on it, been chipped and all sorts done, so i dont know what power that puts out at the minute.

The mondeo is standard though.

Ive been trying to convince my dad for weeks he should let me have a go in it, but he isnt shifting at all on that one.

If only i had £8k i would buy it off him (thats a family price only by the way).

i know of quite a few police forces which use the st220 as unmarked cars so beware! they seem to be getting popular as unmarked T5s are a bit obvious really...

by the way those fast fords are looking sweet! any plans for a fiesta st for a run around?

yep there are both marked and unmarked st220 mondeos near me loads of them as ive been in a few. they are all being changed now though for bmw 530 s. id love any of those though esp the focus as it would cost me roughly the same to insure compared to the 182.

They are all spanking gorgeous cars, hopefully i will get to see the focus soon and get taken for a spin in it. Will go with my dad though as he knows how to drive properly (he used to do banger racing, and all sorts as a kid, so knows how to handle slides etc)

Anyway, Fred, the wheel is straight enough, when i told my dad that you would use a hammer on it, he got his nylon mallet out and started bashing the crap out of it. It doesnt look to bad now, you can hardly notice it. He sanded it down a bit too and then laquered it. So its now got a new tyre on, and he is giving it hell!

As for the Fiesta ST, hoepfully that will be my next car, as although i would love a 182/172 etc a ST is cheaper on the insurance.

If i get time at the weekend i shall give the cossie a clean and take some decent pictures of it for you. I need to buy a Porter Cable Polisher really as the paint work is terrible on it. But then , my dad nor my uncle dont give a sh*t, as it just goes to fast to car what it looks like up close. I might try and get a sound clip too!
