seems strange as they have quoted me in the past with no problems!
 
none? ive had 3 quotes from them before and its been fine.

who is good for mods on a 21year old~? LOL!
 
Won't insure mine either, was told they don't do certain postcodes. Guess its due to the number of claims or something.

I cant rememebr who i am with, but i mentioned a roll cage etc etc when i took the policy out, and they said once getting them done declare them, but my policy price wont increase.

Think i pay about £400 a year on my 172. But then i have age on my side!! lol
 
fmp_ any chance of checking who you are with as I am going to need cage friendly insurer later in year. Hopefully anyway
 
You're getting quotes of 1k for a 21yr old livin in cheshire...With barely one std part on the car! i would take that and run!!! FAST!

yeh but tpft! and lets face it the chances of writing off a 400bhp+ clio yourself are quite high :rasp:

plus all the money thats gone into it! mind you what value do you state when insuring it?

EDIT - It's only a C rated postcode, so not brilliant but not too bad!

i am in the highest rate postcode with greenlight, and they told me an admin charge of £25 will be payable if I wanted to get ITB's. Couldnt believe it.
 
Just stick renault stickers on everything and pass them off as optional extras;)

Greenlight wont insure cars in shady areas, dont do M postcodes either... plus I thought it was 21 and 3 years NCD??? If it's only 1 that's pretty mint.
 
You know what I mean Ben, Warrington is hardly a low crime zone, nor is Manchester, so any area that falls under their post code will receive the same penalty no matter how far away from said cities they may be. Surprised they do Stockport SK post codes tbh, so f**king right shitty spots and then you have places like Cheadle Hulme, Bramhall, Wilmslow and Alderley Edge where footballers etc live. Would have thought Stockport was bad enough to penalise any SK postal code though tbh, far worse than Manchester
 
Weird, I'm with them at the moment, and I have a Romford postcode which is also one of the worst ones.
