Hello there renault people.
i´m from Finland and have just joined here.
I have got this "stupid" question, about ur markings in ur cars regs, the letters M and L for one, what does those stand for?

Not sure what you mean about our car numbers, do you mean the registration plates or the VIN plates on UK market cars ?

Our car registration plate system is strange, everything from 2 letters/numbers up to the current system where the first two letters show the region or area where the car was first registered, the next two numbers show which time of the year, and the last three letters are random.

For instance AB 07 CDE would be Anglia (where I live) March 2007 till Aug 2007

We can also buy older numbers that may have a significance for us, like our names initials or car models etc.
 
or like RU52EL A russel a , but the car is a 2005 not a 2002, so it can be very very confusing, even renault think you are crazy when you want warrenty work doing and they keep saying your car is out of warrenty, till they put in chassis number and see it is newer than they think
 
Yeaah, ment like this: "The car is a K reg 1993" thanks for the answers, now i feel smarter again :D
 
Ahh, yes the first letter shows the year of the car. Until the more recent ones which is shown as explained above :)

What is it that you're getting done at the minute see that the engine is out? There's a nice lady on there that i like ;)
 
errr, my map thingy failed to work as wanted, so i´ll just say in south, near ekenäs,thats in swedish, tammisaari in finnish.. could say "in" the sea..:cool:

Yeah, teh engine was out, my clutch sayed byebye, and when the engine was out, i did a small operation on everything.. like renewing the belt and so on.. and now the urge for mooore hp is huge when i tickled it a little :headno:
 
Well, the clutch change is much easyer with the engine out on the valver, and so is the belt change too.. no major mods were done, just the basic thingys.. but now in summer my goal would be +200 hp
