Grinding/banging noise in 1st

My Clio 172 mk2 (2003) was experiencing a grinding / nocking noise when accelerating hard in 1st and sometimes in 2nd. I took it to Reg Vardys (local reno dealer) who have fixed it by adjusting / replacing the gearbox mounts (I think thats what they did ). I just thought I would post this in case some 1 else has the same issues it might point them in the right direction!

cool, cheers. will ask them to look at this tomorrow, i think i am getting closer to the cause of my grinding/banging.

Yeah got it sorted under warranty just in time really as my warranty runs out in march I think!
