Grinding noise

Hi, when driving along i can hear a grinding noise which sounds like it is coming from the wheel. Only just started the last couple of days. sorry about being brief but its hard to explain Does this sound like a warped brake disc?

grinding happens all the time, brakes also sqweek when braking...

You could have something stuck between the pads and the disc such as a stone. Get the wheel off for a good inspection.

You dont think its warped disc then?

no different from usual really, only learning at the mo so coudnt tel ya

You should only feel feedback on the pedal when ABS is kicking in. Otherwise there is a problem.

Really need more information from you though.

yeah it does stop when turning. my dad is going to take it out tomorrow to see what he thinks as im not too sure as ive only been driving(learning) in it for 2 weeks

Usually garages like Kwik-Fit do free brake inspections. Take it there.
