Grubby seatbelts question

The silver seatbelts on my 182 are looking a bit grubby,are there any cleaning products you can safely use?Iv'e heard some products may weaken the fibres in the belt.

Autoglym Interior Shampoo, or Megs APC work well.

I know its an old thread but thought id let you all know that fairy liquid and a nailbrush worked wonders last weekend

Mine are a bit dirty too and AG did not shift it may give the washing up liquid a go !!
