GT turbo conversion

hello everyone,

this is my first post on here, just joined. my girlfriend had given me her clio as she has changed her car. its a Y reg 1.2 clio. i dont really no much about the clio's at all.

getting to the point, i have sourced a R5 GT Turbo engine to go into the clio as my summer project. Has anyone done this conversion themselves or had it done?? is there anything i should know before i start??

BRUN had it done but best idea is to get a whole R5 sas you need loads of bits and bobs to do it.

theres a few people that have had them done, i considered it for a while and bought an engine, but it just didnt think it would be worth spending a load of money on an old car.... so i bought a 172 mk1. I have a load of GTT bits for sale too if you need some parts. Pm if your interested.
