Aren't a lot of superbikes hovering around the 1bhp per 1kg mark now? (or 1000bhp per tonne depending on how you want to look at it).

There's not many cars that are going to have that sort of Power to Weight ratio, and then contend with the fact a motorbike has a much smaller hole to punch in the air.
