GT5 still recording car soundtracks?

I just got an email from a media company wanting to record my car with the OEM exhaust on for the up coming GT5 game.

I would have thought they'd have finished by now.

  Turbos.
I'm starting to think you need an "I own a TVR" t-shirt dude...

That is strange though, but i hope they better Forza which itself is lightyears ahead of any GT game when it comes to engine/exhaust notes.

Better than Forza? They put about 8 mic's on every car and did recordings under load throughout the rev range ;) Although most sound fairly accurate with the blow off noises exhaust note engine sound etc I'll agree they're lacking something that would make them a bit more visceral.

As for the recording for GT5 I'm not shocked at all. The game isn't out until at least March and Forza they were still recording sound files up until about a week before the game went in to cert at Microsoft wich was only about 5 weeks before release date.

I just seemed odd. They saw my OEM vid on youtube and sent me a message via it.

I get to go to a dyno of my choice, and get a free power run while they do all thier recording. What worries me it that surely i couldn't have the fans running while doing this.

Ali doesn't need to, here's a chuck Norris fact about him.

"Ali doesn't need to experience anything else, once he's found something he considers the best or a superb example, it becomes one by virtue of his impression"
FACT.

Will the GT5 TVR spends it entire life on the hard shoulder of the M1 with and AA man sucking air through his teeth, trying to figure out which bit dropped off? I heard in Gt5 you will have damage, and I've heard the TVR's will come as standard 2 feet shorter at the rear to make game play quicker as its inevitable some talentless wanker will put it backwards through a hedge back

lol the AA man had no idea what was wrong with mine.

It was only two fuses FFS.

Surely this means that they have to record what the car sounds like when it hits the limter? I wouldnt want that done to my TVR tbh

I'll set up a soft limiter at 7500rpm.

I've got them to take it with the JP exhaust on. So it sounds a lot more epic!

  Turbo'd MX-5 MK4
I was going to say I couldn't be arsed having them mess around removing then refitting the exhaust tbh, but if they aren't going to, fair enough
