Went on for the first time in weeks earlier, I was constantly killed and when I managed to get a jet I was instantly blown up by a much higher level player in a jet.
Then when I wrote a message of my dissatisfaction via XBL, he decided to send mercenaries and put a large bounty on me.
Oh and I was mugged...wtf?!

rockstar are starting to crack down on people doing glitches, and they get put into a bad sport style lobby and stripped of all their money etc!
Problem is, if someone gets gifted the money they will be banned too due to spending glitched money!
A friend has just had every last penny taken and put into a lobby where we cant play together for over a month!

You can send muggers to mug people, they will kill them and take X amount of money, but another player can then kill the mugger and get the money
But what are you ment to do if you get the money, you cant get rid of it, so are you ment to go through the whole game from then on without spending?
Apparently from what I have read they are working out the bugs so the people who get the money from such things as bounties will not get banned, but if you get offered the money do not take it - treat it as real life - if you get offered a million £ from someone you don't know then it's most likely dodgy lol
If you receive money, report it to Rockstar, the link was posted in post #1268. Chances are it'll get taken away from you at some point anyway.
The $bn bounties / gifts, and RP glitchers have killed this game. It's going to take R* too much time to reverse the transactions, remove RP, fixing the game, which means they won't be able to spend that time releasing new DLC (Heists, Casino, new missions etc). Stuff that sounded like good fun. By the time they fix the mess, a lot of gamers will have moved on to other games, or gone onto a next-gen console.
There is no point doing any missions, why waste 30 mins doing a Survival for $20k and a few RP when you've got $bns, and can glitch to level 120 in a few hours. There's nothing to unlock after that.

There isn't an option to accept or refuse the money though. Last night some kid kept saying speak to me and I'll give you money. Told him he sounded about 6 and he said he was 9. What sort of person lets there nine year old kid play GTA with probably absolutely no supervision?!
Yes I know I used to play GTA 2 and 3 when I was younger, but those games were nowhere near as realistic as GTA5 and had to resort to borrowing mates copies of VC and SA unbeknown to my parents.

I got two lots of 75mill tonight. Then they sent me some weird message about subscribing to something and if I asked for more money they would block me. Told them I would be glad if they took the money back (in less pleasant words) and they started saying that I had asked them to do it and been "invited" lol.
Also did a capture mission which would of been good if people didn't just treat it as a deathmatch.

Saw my first account of mega glitching last night, 5 person race, the person that came last got 1300000 RP points and something stupid like $240,000,000,000. How the hell?!
I dont get how theyve managed to crack the game on a console? PC where you can get into the coding i could understand, but on a ps3/360??

You route your xbox or ps3 through a computer, then you can change the access files and data that your console is sending. They then edit the values they get back from rockstar and join a session.

IIRC $9k is the maximum legit bounty you can put one somebody. So probably not a glitcher, or just a rubbish one. There are also hacked negative $bn bounties around. But I believe that it doesn't take the money from you. Imagine seeing that a $2bn dollar bounty has been placed on a player, not noticing the -, killing them and being massively in debt forever.

Last night 3 people had tanks, every time I spawned they killed me. They'd blown just about every police car and helicopter up in a 2 mile radius.
Tonight I'm in races and everyone seems to have modded veyrons, bullet proof tyres etc, so I'm losing every race.
Then I noticed a guy who came last won about $90billion and a s**t load of RP - WTF?
So I left the game, went driving around, drove into the center and 7 or 8 people all had bounties on their heads shooting everyone.
I get shot about 8 times, tried killing some of them but they seemed invincible and had gattling guns. Got annoyed and just chucked a ton of C4 into the middle and blew it - boom - I've got $2billion from a bounty?? WTF?

Most I've ever won from a game was £20k. This is supposed to be a virtual crime game? £2k for robbing an armored truck???
It takes weeks and weeks just to buy a half decent car. They surely can't be surprised that people have got bored and hacked it

Shitting myself now. Just joined a game, minding my own business when a wanted guy tries to run me over. I shoot him and then it says I've successfully completed the $2bn bounty...wtf do I do?

Same boat as me. I've been saving for about a week to buy a car I want, playing shitty survival games one after the other. Now suddenly I've got enough money to buy every car in the game lol

The game is screwed, they might as well sack it off and start on gta6. If they reset everything, people will get pissed off and won't play it. If they leave it, there will be people hidden inside walls killing everyone, others in tanks etc ruining the game for normal players. I got given 100 million before, so did 2 of my mates in the same session. Im gonna spend as much as I like, if they ban me they can f*ck off!

I did just spend an hour with 2 randomers, who were trying every way of killing me imaginable haha. It was quite funny actually, I must have died 30 times in the hour.
Same, that will be my cue to upgrade console.

Got given $100m yesterday. It's a bit annoying as I put so much effort into building up my $30m and getting up to level 79 if people can just do the same in an instant. Tank battles are fun though.

Went into a few games today and every game had several tanks running round shooting everything.
I decided to go and get a jet, but my shooting skills seriously lacked so ended up hitting a tree when trying to get as close as possible without being shot haha!
Anyone online tonight for a sesh?
