Guess what i found under my passenger seat?

No Mattieuk it wasn't Osama Bin Laden but good guess all the same:D
Lee was correct today i did find a Alpine Renault 6 cd changer, i'm glad i dropped that pound coin otherwise id be sitting here with no idea that i had one.:D

They removed them from mid 2003 onwards in the last of the 172s. When they added Cruise Control they took out the autochanger for some reason.
 
Got it in december 05 not that long ago, i would be pretty pissed off if i found it say a year from now but only had it a few months, so thats not to bad.
 
yeah r jay the thing is, me and my girlfriend have done alot of miles in it since we brought it but i haven't had the time to have a proper look about it yet.
 
a few years back i bought a 2001 dynamique.
A few weeks after i got it i was giving it a bit of a clean & found the tray underneath the passenger seat was full of cds .. there was about 10 original cds in there :-)
And the ashtray was full of coins.. shame it was mainly coppers!
 
Bloody hell. Just looked under my seat and found one too lol

Last owner told me it didn't have one!

I've got a 2003 172 with a disc changer and no cruise control. I'd happily exchange my disc changer for cruise control any day of the week. :(

Glad im not the only one that did this i had the car for 6 week before i found it
 
Did none of you press the steering wheel controls and get No CD appear and not wonder what it was?
 
cd changer was never standard in a 172 - always extra on the price. I did not bother with mine as I always intended changing the head unit.
I can believe some of you did not know it was there - I guess that means your cars need a hoover!
 
Haha. I know how you feel. I've got a X reg 172 and no one told me it had a 6 CD autochanger. The car advert didn't mention it, place I bought it from didn't either.


Didn't find it for 3 months! Funnily enough, I dropped some money and found it by accident too.


And to think I was only a week or two away from getting an aftermarket headunit.
