Well were to start, was parking up in a car park and had to stop as someone was pulling out of a space on my right. Was stopped for a good few seconds when CRUNCH - thought id been shunted from behind only to see the back of a golf estate rammed into my left door. Immediately got out and my heart sunk when i saw the damage!! Pi**ed off to say the least but kept it together and luckily a woman came over to say she saw what happened. The bloke admitted it was his fault straight away and blamed the sun in his rear view as an excuse. Swapped details and went to get an estimate - £700 for a new door and spray job. Luckily the next day I got a ring from directline to say that the other bloke admitted liability and my car could be sorted on his policy. Car went in the other day and have been told it should take a week so am just waiting to get my hands on it again. :rasp:

Unlucky mate, but at least you are getting it sorted out quickly.

I've been knocked off my bike twice, each time taken nearly a year to get any money out of them.

I had similar happen on my passenger side, needed a new door and a spray job...

New doors never fit the same as the original though
