Had all belts done and now there is a rattle

This is a strange one to describe so please bare with me, I had my cambelt, dephaser, etc done 2 weeks ago. But yesterday I noticed a 'tappetty' noise coming from the belts area ? But the noise gets worse when I move the steering wheel. I will try and video it tomorrow, but not sure how to put video's on here.
Are the 2 connected ?
I changed wheels over on Friday, might I have done something doing this ?

could well be a tensioner or a pulley that was not installed properly, if I were you id take it back to the garage and make them check it out, last time I took my car to the specialists they botched the job, messed up my air con, put the cambelt tensioner in incorrectly and didn't tension it... so for piece mind, have them check it out...my lose cam belt tensioner sounded like a tappet or lifter that was dead

Power steering pump has packed up !!!! Say's its the first time he's known one brake ? £198 for a new one, but he managed to find a second hand one for £40.

Not heard any whining before, but it makes sense that its the PAS. Almost silent when car is moving but noisy when stationary, and worse when I moved the wheel.
There was no pressure in the pump when he checked, but the second hand one he had leaked. So he's been looking for a recon today, if not it's a new one from Renault :anguished:

Picked it up today with new PAS pump, handles like a completely different car :smile:
