My ph1's first since I got her, passed thankfully but advisories on 3 of the tyres are perished and they reckon they are the original michelins So I'll be buying 4 new ones, what should I go for and where to buy from? Cheers

Michelins seem to perish pretty quickly ime Jamie but camskill seem to be the cheapest. Or Costco are pretty damn good too.

Get on Camskill... The masses on here will through you some decent brands/models of tyres.

And yes, they won't be the originals. Unless your car is on 12-15k.

Seen a few on camskill circa 40 each not sure how much a garage would charge to fit. Black circle are around 55 a tyre fitted?

Rear tyres on the work van done 70-80k they are proper chunky when new though lol.

Good news on the MOT though mate had my ph1 fail on me the other week.

I had to get a new washer pump but knew it needed that so they fitted it prior to doing the mot, oh and it will need some new front wipers soon too. Will be good to get some fresh rubber all round though

I got 2 T1Rs from camskill for £30 each, seem quite decent, dont know if they are still at that price though

Simple enough to check, they came with Mixhelin Pilot SX GT originally and Michelin discontinued them not long after.

Tesco sell flat wipers for £8 for two mate, they dont last aslong as Bosch numbers but at £8 who cares lol?

Lol, I know. Last owner had it for 6years, had 3 owners. Will check them tomorrow but they are Michelin pilots and look pretty old but tread isn't too bad just the tyre walls are cracked

just checked, one of the back tyres is michelin pilot sx gt as above so probably the original, its pretty perished, the other 2 that are perished are michelin pilot exaltos.

looking on camskill and going by the evo 2012 tyre test where the hankook evo s1? came 2nd overall i may go for them, circa 45 a tyre. uniroyal rainsport 2 are 37 a tyre though this isnt a brand or tyre iv used before.

for so little extra they are defo worth it imo, best tyre I've used in the wet and superb in the dry as well. Last forever as well

cheers john, yeah its got 2 of those on it already and the tread is still good so they have lasted years just starting to crack on the sidewalls a bit, think ill order up 4 of them and get them on before the weather gets any worse.

If its just one, a good chance that's the spare that has been thrown on at some point, the spare was the same wheel and tyre combo.
