the standard setting for a 182 isI'd have taken it straight back tbh. When ever i take mine in (will be this week) I always tell them to make sure the wheel is straight............ They 'should' lock it down when adjusting tbh. Also i'm sure the settings aint 0, i'm sure they toe in a few degrees iirc?

oh it's nowt technical, i used to use it on my stockcar, but tried it on my cup. it's just a bar that goes underneath the car with a right angle piece of metal on each end. then one end is put against the alloy and the other end measured. then swapped to other side of wheel. it takes time but it does work. i then use a laser level to project from the front wheel to the rear wheel on each side with a target on it to get the steering straight. i've had it checked by a garage after first attempt and it was spot on 0 degrees with steering straight too.
