Had the ITB'd beasty RR'd the other week...

no we use the word "approx" or "around", and your right bhp does sell (although not in the clio market!)

torque is the most important thing

Yep I agree.

Off topic I know but why not use your stand alone ECU on your car cuts down the wiring potential problems plus get rid of the box the looms are lily to be similar anyway for the turbo box so its not like you'll be throwing money away.

LOL @ the straight line thing! spend money on track days

good driver is worth way more than 20bhp

I'll do both, I just like the idea of a massively powerful FWD Clio... I always wanted TB's for the Williams, but £8k went into repairs instead... £8k on the engine for this would be interesting though, but I only aim to spend about a further £5k or so before I leave it as it is.

Good driver is worth 20bhp in a straight line (aka 2 live lol), but 100bhp on track I'd say. Jon and Yoz are just fearless... must be something with you tuning guys, as Andy and Ben can drive too and I hear your not too bad either Freddy boy! Still, it wont be enough when I have a few more mods, you'll be getting a hiding son ;) lol

Oh and yeah, Martin's car would pan mine, it's not far off in terms of power and is much much lighter. Mk1's are just a faster car full stop, better engine's imo, been saying this for years but no fucker listens... think the 1/4 mile times say it all tbh lol

why didn't you clio TT start properly again?

quote
Heard him qoute 425hp to someone else. However if you saw him starting it and paid attention carefully you would realise he was lying.

First of all he had to start it by removing the boost pipe of the throttle body and chuck a cup of fuel down it with full open throttle, then feathering it around 2500rpm to keep it running for the first 5-10 minutes.
Obviously not very good at mapping as 1.8T's start on the button running more than 450hp on a good map.

;)

  MERCEDES CLS AMG
that was after "CHIPWIZARDS" at Rochdale mapped it - wouldnt take anything there

GDi are meant to be pretty good as well ;)

pmsl, very quick to put someone else's company down still eh Fred? Like I said on MSN pal, it looks VERY unprofessional when you get one company slagging another off... Especially when you get it wrong ;) Concentrate on your own products, if you are any good people will come to you without all the hard sell and arrogant bravado

Matt, you should have taken it to Fred to map and get running mate, at 13 years old he has all the experience and expertise you need ;)

hahaha, i still love you even though you're horrible to me ;)

i wasn't putting anyone down, i was just asking why his car didn't start on the key

you love it when I'm mean Fred, now roll over lol

come on, less digs, lets see some mutual respect, none of what any of these guys do including yourself and Yoz is an easy job, things wont always go to plan, but look at any of them and the success FAR out weighs any of the failures.
