Halfords alloy refurbs

has anybody had a wheel refurb by Halfords.
picked up the flyer today, said from £65 per wheel.
Didnt sound too bad

they dont do it themselves, they usually have a specialist company do it for them.

might be cheaper getting in touch directly with the company

The only company in my area is mega dear, worse than halfords.
oh well will have to try abit further afield.
anybody know a good place in Bristol or Swindon or even Oxford.
Good cheap prices and can do them sort of while u wait.

No company will do a "while you wait" service if they do a half decent job. halfords do a touch-up service and the job wont be upto par with a full wheel referb.

dont think you'll be able to find one thats a while you wait type of place, usually takes a couple of days to do.

might even be worth going to a local repair garage and ask if they can get them sent off for you to a trade alloy wheels refurb company like these -

usually charge around £150 for a full set to be done, so a few extra quid to the repair garage for the trouble if you ask them nicely lol

wouldnt say its that easy tbh, depends what condition they are in, plus takes time and a fair few materials

and hassle lol
