halfords paint fail ¬¬

was going to colour code my side strips got the paint mixed at halfords and you guessed doesnt match fml, going to take the paint back tomorrow and see what they say... but seeing as my side strips are all primered up i was considering stickerbombing them i know most of you guys hate it but it was only a thought

when i had paint mixed at halfords, they told me there was no refund on it, and got me to check first

i had paint mixed at halfords for my v-limited wrx and they got it spot on , depends on the staff i supose

Was it the one in Reddish? Never had faith in there and only been in a handful of times for random parts!

At the end of the day though, these are just people trying to earn money to pay for bills/beer/broads...they're not paint specialists and are only following advice from a machine (which could well be wrong), as well as the fact that there are normally several different shades of the same paint code.

Most of the time it's down too the person mixing it. I always used to take great care but that couldn't be said for everyone. Also if you only use a name there could be about 15 shades to choose from. I've been using their premixed paint this weekend and tbh the match is spot on.

so ive been to halfords there wasnt anyone there who could re-mix some paint for me so the guy in there gave me my money back, so got my paint from somewhere else great colour match and it was cheeper win win, will get some pics of how my side strips look later
