Hammerite for wheel refurb

I've used hammerite in the past and flat it back an lacquered over it, just not on alloys, Just wondered if anyone else has done this.

i used it on my brakes in spray form and the finish was soooooooo s**te wouldnt even entertain the idea

funny u should say this coz i was talkin about hammerite on alloys today and before people go sayin it will look poo, they should find out if it has been done before. i'm no professional sprayer but attempted this as a temporary job on my old cossie alloys and i was so impressed i never got them powder coated it can look good if u take ur time and dont go gung ho with the thickness of layers i'll upload pics now and to spray all 4 alloys cost me £40 happy days!!
