handbrake and stop light flickering

hi,

when I get up to about 60 mph my stop light and handbrake light (top left and bottom right lights on dash) flicker on and off simultaniously, sometimes they stay on then go off. The car is fine its just as though there is a loose connection somewhere. Any ideas??

Brake fluid level in the resevoir?

um lift up the bonnet and check the fluid is between min and max?

ok. where's the reservoir then?? the manual says it is between the coolant and power steering resevoirs but theres nothing there???

found it!! under the engine cover.....level is low, will top it up as brake pads are fine!!

topped up the level and its now fine!

usually means your pads are getting low and need replacing

mine went to the garage 2day with the exact same problem and they found a fault at how it was fitted and how it was working so they sorted it.
