Handbrake tightening

hi, ive a 2002 clio..well obv its a clio lol. can anyone tell me how to tightenin the handbrake? is it those adjusters inside the drums?

and also can anyone recomend a good but relatively cheap car alarm?

Yes mate there inside the drums, or thats the proper way todo it really. Adjust them, put the drum on, adjust a bit more, put the drum on, keep doing this till theres just contact between the shoes and the drum. Put the drums on, tighten the hubnut, go underneath, remove the heatshield and you'll see the 2 cables go into 1 cable, and a 13mm Nut, adjust till your happy. Bit of a **** to get on without a ramp.

Or, the cheating way, just remove the heatshield underneath the car, and tighten the 13mm nut till happy.
