Handbrake warning and stop lights on my dash keep coming on??

Its mainly when doing hill starts but sometimes come on while driving. Anyone had this or know how it can be fixed? Would be grateful for any advise

First things I would try are checking the brake fluid level and also checking the pads.

Worn pads. Low fluid.

How do i check the fluid?? I know where to find it but not sure about checking it? And im feeling lazy right now!!
Oh and they are new pads and disks as i changed them myself a few month back

Well the two lines that say "min/max" might be a clue...

It's quite tricky to tell TBH. There's a little anti-surge pot that the sensor sits in, and this is almost all you can see. Adding fluid, it's not always obvious unless you're very patient, as it takes time for the new fluid to drain out the side of the pot.

Almost 100% certain that you just need to change your front pads

EDIT: Reading fail. If the pads are new, you almost certainly need to top up the fluid.
