hard clutch in valver

why is my clutch peddle so hard in my valver any ideas

They're very stiff standard.
If it's stupidly stiff, you're probably gunna need to get it changed.

When it starts snapping cables, it's about time.. Heh.

Mine was really hard till i changed it

i had 2 new cables and the garage said the clutch was ok it was that the cable was not threded properly

Is it a genuine renault clutch cable? if not then there is your problem!

mine was ** STUPIDLY ** stiff. got quoted £300 for a new one incl. fitting. so i decided to try a new clutch cable. solved the problem. OH and make sure u have a heat shield .. or it melts the cable.. i just had to fit a heat shield. and replace the cable again

Get a proper Renault clutch cable as the copy cat parts are rubish.
