Hard ride...

Right, so I've been driving my LY for a couple of weeks now, and having never driven another 182 before (something I need to address), the ride feels very hard. I'm not sure if this is the norm or whether it's the result of needing new shocks, or better tyres? The better tyres are coming ASAP anyway as the car came with poor selection of tyres on when I bought it, but want to know whether new shocks would do me a favour? The ride is very hard, around all my shitty local roads I'm having to avoid all bumps as it feels like there is no give in the suspension - it's causing my steering wheel to move slightly and is making the CD player jump and skip, is this normal? Thanks.

Standard springs I assume ? No coilies set to full hero mode...?

What tyres are on there ?

Are the tyre pressures OK ?

Try taking them to 29F 27R (PSi) and see what happens.

Sounds like they might be in the 40s at the moment, or you're just a bit of a girl ;)

s**t tyres, hence why they're getting changed, a few no names, a worn Bridgestone. Will be getting 4 new Pzero's soon as. It's running on standard springs. After a journey of about 30 minutes, when I get out the car my legs feel like I've done a session of exercises on one of those vibrating power plates.
