My first proper attempt at "Urban Exploration" gave me these results when I took my camera and tripod with me to Hartwood Hospital near Shotts, North Lanarkshire, Scotland.
It is an old abandoned psychiatric hospital that closed in around 1998 which has two distinctive clock towers.
One of the towers has now rotten but the other one can still be climbed for some brilliant views of the Scottish landscape.
There is also on-site security but we managed to dodge them for the hour or so that we are on site.
Pictures ...
I took about 100 photos but they were the best ones to come out, if you want some more, they are all on my Flickr - here
