Has anyone ever replaced a boot lock?

My brother has just bought himself a cat d 182 which has had full respray in white.
The boot of the car was the part that was in the smash... anyway...

The 182 ph2 boot, now has a phs 1 boot... but with no lock in, has anyone replaced the lock before and can shed any advice..?

Yes. It's pretty much bolt in piece of piss tbh.

Nothing fancy.

What about the elctrics... Is a ph1 the same as a ph2?

Ph2 is different button etc, so you cant swap them into a ph1 boot, but I would imagine the wiring is hte same if you swapped the whole bootlid on.

changing just the lock is a piece of cake on a ph2

Iv done abit of research and people are saying its different
