Well my insurance company is asking if i have an invoice for them, so just wondering if anybody has one i could borrow?

Ring up a Speedline distributor, tell them you'll give em £20 to make a fake invoice - Done.

Well she specifically asked for an invoice like... its a fair enough request i guess but i dont have anything, i bought them off here from a random guy about 2 years ago.

Was thinking about just making one up like

Why do they need an invoice??

Are you making a claim for them?

Insurance Fraud springs to mind.....Just say "Sorry, I got them second hand". Easy.

Just say you don't have a receipt after two years don't think that's unreasonable.

Don't send anything that isn't the real!!!

I you don't have one, you don't have one, simple.

You can't be expected to hold every reciept for every item you have ever bought. They know this, but always ask for one anyway.

I recently claimed for an iPhone that I dropped, I bought it off of ebay and had no proof of purchase, still paid out though!

Don't use a fake receipt/invoice. If you get caught out you're screwed.

Well if they say anything i am just going to say that it's the best i can do, i don't have the receipt but i managed to get a quote for them..

But a quote won't make any diff. Its not the price you paid so they won't pay out that price.

Be honest - that's the best way with insurance companys.

Say you had a dig around and can't find the invoice.
