Has anyone installed 6X9's in the rear arm-rest cards?

As per the question above! I'm thinking of taking out the standard speakers and modifying the arm-rest area where they currently sit to fit 6x9's instead?

Anyone done this? and if so, any pictures?

Doubt it, I fitted 16cm and that was tight enough, probably couldnt cut anymore away and keep it hidden.

Fair play! I think I'll have to take the panal out and measure it up. Will be well knarked if I take it out only to find it ain't gonna work! (Suspect that'll be the case with my luck)

Why would you want to put all that hard work in to get some 6x9's in there when they arn't technically the best designed speaker around. Would be better of either putting standard size speakers in, or with a bit of work enlarge it to get some bigger ones in there.

I take it its for show, you would achieve much better results using components

6x9s are a poor speaker They are ok at 3 things and not a master of any of them
