Hehehe - not quite!

Remember I mentioned about the faulty ESP switch on my car? Renault's eventual answer - give him a new display console! Obviously, the downside to that is that the mileage is back to zero - but I've got documentation (with Renault letterheads) stating what the mileage was before - and what work was carried out.

Seems funny seeing that number on the dash. When I picked the 182 up from brand new - it had 6 miles on the clock - lol!

Oh, and the ESP light works now! :)

Nice low mileage one there Darren !

You would think they would just be able to adjust it.

Can they not set it back to the mileage that was on it before it ate its own head and they replaced it?

Apparently not. They probably can, but no doubt that would open up the whole potential of increased clocking of cars, etc.

The thought did cross my mind last night, to put it up for sale.....

"2004 Clio 182 in Black Gold. Car is hardly ever used (hence low mileage) - much cheapness price of £11,500".

I had mine adjusted to match the correct mileage when I replaced my import dialset in my 172

Mine done the exact same, I was a bit weary at first to buy it in case it had been clocked, but its all legit on the car details so ;)
