has my car got a torsion bar

i have a clio 1.4 rt 1998 mk2 phase 1. i have no idea what a torsion bar looks like but i have springs at the back. does this mean i havent got a torsion bar. so when it comes to lowering i will need 4 springs rite. cheers for your help guys

in a word no, youll need four springs as the car hasnt got a torsion bar. more expensive in terms of the springs but easier to do than a torsion bar

i would say it easier with a torsion bar than springs, doing the springs takes ages with manaul compressors

not rear springs on a clio 2.ten minute job honestly.you dont need the spring clamps for the rear ones.

Youre not allowed to get a Mk2 if you have a Mk1.
