How you finding the clio to your cupra ?

Thought so, small internet world eh?! Got my Clio on Monday. As i got the Cup version its not as well specced as the Cupra with respect to aircon, leather etc. But my god does it go! I think point to point or on track the Clio would have the Cupra (mine was 220bhp). Although the Cupra would have the Clio in a straight line, the Clio more than makes up for it with its fun factor and the fact it uses next to no fuel compared to the Cupra. So i'm happy!

Cast iron 100% way is the projector lenses instead of normal halogen reflectors.

Not what Ive heard!! Been told bumper has to come off! Garages want 70 quid an hour to do it!!!

Thats to get the whole unit out, you can change the bulb on its own like any other piece of pish..

Lol! its a pretty tricky/fiddly btard. Not sure how much the bulb is but im sure you could get one cheap off ebay or a smashed up car for example..

True that that is only if the bulb has failed....if it is the ballast pack below it the bumper will have to come off...lol! :dapprove:

LOL!sorry... Worth changing the bulb first just to make sure, but if that fails, it may well be down to the ballast....the packs arent sealed very well from the factory and are prone to getting wet

i changed my bulb. it was the most frustrating thing i have ever done. almost cried. plus stupidly i did it in december at 2oc thinking it will be a 30 second job! took me a hour.

i had 2 bulbs go and two starter packs (dont know proper name) go in four years at a total cost of £400. so siad i wouldnt have them again on my next car.

Pmsl! I fitted my whole units in about and hr, without putting the bulbs in them, then put the bulbs in in situe, (which wasnt as hard as a normal clio headlight bulb to do), and ive had no problems with them since....And i bought both whole units for about 200 quid
