i have tried to sell a few cars on that site...

you will get people sending you private messages 'offering peanuts for your car'...and the auction will end at a very low price...

the site is full of time-wasters...

as long as your vehicle doesnt have any obvious damage to it...they will offer £2.5k...

yeah its pretty simple...

you take your car + documentation to one of their showrooms...

somebody will then inspect your vehicle for signs of damage...

a price will be offered...and if you agree the money will be transfered into your bank account...

i have used them before...my car was valued at book price...and the money was transfered into my bank account...

it was the easiest sale i have ever made...lol

I have done a bit of buying and selling in the past and have had great results from pistonheads.com which is free to advertise and covers a wide spectrum of cars from classic to modified and exotic cars. They have millions of hits a day on the site aswell. Also the good old Autotrader is a way forward. They can be expensive depending on the tyoe of ad but not as expensive as the auction route. Best of luck selling the car but never seem to desperate to sell as people tend to not listern to your situation of getting rid of the car they assume theres a fault on the car that you dont want to deal with.

^^^ yea mate thats a fair point. however the only reason i need a quick sale is i have a car waiting to be collected.

made an appointment to take the car to buymycar place for tomorrow so all being well it should be gone. 2.5k is a bit less than what i wanted but . . .
