Hazard lights on randomly?

only started to happen recently....

sometimes ill unlock my car, get in and the hazards lights will be flashing, even if i start the engine?

If i push the hazard button on and off it seems to cancel it out..

Could it be indicating some kind of fault on the car? i.e. electrical fault?

Not the alarm as that doesnt go off...

only does it every now and again, ill turn the hazard switch on that wont do anything, then ill turn it off an it will cancel it out?

Have u tried setting the alarm of to make sure the siren is working?

Try disconnecting the switch for a few days and see if the prob goes
