HD through the XBOX360 media extender

  GW RS200
Does anybody know if HD content through the XBOX360 media extender is possible streamed from a PC? Both 720p/1080i/1080p. I have a wired ethernet connection, but 1080p must be a huge bandwidth. Actually my XB doesnt have an HDMI out, so whats the best def you can get through a component cable(s)?

Cheers,

Steve

Component is capable of 1080p, and wired ethernet of any form is capable of streaming HD content, including old 10mbit stuff. Remember satellite is only 2mbit, and there's 11 HD channels on there - however that is at it's limit. Sky need to find another way of getting HD to people, as there's only so much bandwidth available to them.

no it's not. 1080i is the bets you can get through component...you can get 1080p through vga if your telly supports it.

AACS won't allow more than 1080i so effectively, you can't run 1080p throgh component with most applications of it.

LOL My missus got my 360 connected to Xbox live for me and she is a complete and utter techno-phobe. lol.

I've streamed HD stuff wirelessly but it's very difficult to get a good enoiugh signal unless my router is line of sight with my Xbox.
