Head bolts

I know you are suppose to..

I talked to a en "expert today" and he told me that you can feel it when you are tightening the bolt. If it gets lighter after as you are torqing it, unscrew it and try another one, is what he said. He used to do Cossie engines for a rallycrossteam. Ha said the cossie ones could be used around 3 times..

What about the Renault bolts???

agreed but if you just sorting it to sell then whack em back in and use a frosties packet smeared with blue hylomar as a head gasket.

ahh the joys, that ford orion went away with one of those special HGs.

Cereal packets and blue hylomer/vaseline have sealed many an engine/box.

Off course the are stretch bolts. It dosent mean they cant be used once again if you use your brain a little.. I have 20 used ones, hope 10 of them will still work.
