Head Gaskets + IK



  A slow one :-(


My Dads been talking to his mate whos an engineer. He recons the reason i blew the head gasket on my Clio was cos the IK. He recons that its building pressure up inside the cylinders making the gasket go ping! What you guys think?

Ive got 2 mates one is an Mechanical engineer and the others an automotive engineer so going to ask their opinions.

I recon its all tosh! It aint no damn turbo!

Yeah, Think its just cos they dont like the sound it makes! They dont know ive ordered an k-tec exhaust yet. The loud one hehehehe!
 


NA engines suck there air in, its not pressurised in, so he is talking complete and utter bollock. Your head gasket went cause it was either overheated or gasket or block/head surface became perforated due to no corrosion protection etc
