Head unit, Best Value?

Need a new headunit, following spec:

• iPod compatiable (fully, as in can control ipod whilst its in the glove box)
• 4x50W (lower by a tiny bit if necessary)
• Pre-out for 1 amp

Cheap is good, but i dont want crap, i've been looking at the following two...

Also, where would everyone advise buying from? No one seems to do free delivery and prices seem to be EXTREMELY varied!

For what reason? The sony is more expensive most places so just wondering what makes the alpine so much better?

sound quality and clarity are far superior,rms figures are much higher with alpine-ive never had an alpine unit back should tell you something about reliability

Alpine have made loads and the quality is just so much better, i have a Alpine headunit with ipod connection and it charges my ipod and lets me go through my ipod using the headunit

you can use your original ipod lead and plug it in providing it has a usb connection to it.

how much you looking at altogether to spend?

delivery shouldnt be more than 10 tbh to cover delivery and packaging,etc

I wasnt looking at going more than 120, but its looking like 135 or so, Ya55er, cheers for the link, thing is one of the main things that attracted me to this unit is that is orange, so goes well with the interior!

ive just bought this, hasnt arrived yet, but its Apline, and my bro had an apline headunit in his saxo and it was the dogs! Best headunits by far!

Delivery is about £6 to £15 depending on weight etc, i bought my head unit, sub, amp and sub box and the delivery was about £15.. look here:

Thanks a lot you 2, really helped me out, think i'm gonna go for that deal with the cable for 100. As far as i can see, apart from not being orange, its pretty much the same.
