Head unit question

Is there any after market head units that`ll work with the controllers by the steering wheel?

most will, but you have to buy the adapters seperately for them.

As far as I know they will all work, you just need to buy the correct adaptors for the manufacturer of the headunit. I have 2 links saved from a while back, apparently you need this;

This is a huge job, as i found out, after buying my head unit...

The entire dash has to be taken out, as all the controls for it are behind it, lying near the windscreen, took a workshop 3 hours to completly do...

Not even sure its worth it though, never use them... adapter cost me £30 and cost £80 to fit the bugger...

Really think about this....

Really think about this....

I think someone took you for a ride there or the unitsd you used were cheap stuff any decient infact any stuff uses the stock connectors the only issue is that you have to spend a bit of time (10mins) to get all the stuff in the hole no dash removal is ever needed.
