head unit & s/w stalk install HELP!!!

  Clio 172 Cup

ok,

so ive got my alpine CDE 9828RB head unit- i now need the leads so that i can use my steering wheel remote control with the head unit. Is this straight forward to set up? Is it just a matter of connecting a few leads together or is it a bit more complicatied? can someone explain? Ive seen the leads that are needed .....and one has a small square box thing attached to it - whats that for - and is there room for all these wires in the gap where the head unit slides into!!!!

help!

I mounted the little box behind the dials. Is just a case of connecting one end to the hu and the other to loom behind the clock and using the remote on lead to power the adaptor. Relatively easy job.

If its the same as im using one lead goes into the plug for the digital display mate, so its a dash off job, and you will find lots of room then to hide all the cables. It should be the same as what im using, I have the D300 screen but im sure all the cables are the same with just the same jack being used.

seems a bit daunting taking the whole dash off!! Is it difficult to do?

is there a chance that i can damage anything doing this?

So basically:

connect one lead to the HU

other goes behind clock display

and another connects to the remote control

I notcied when installing the HU that there was a cable with a square yellow head on the end, that came out of the back of the original HU - whats that for?
