HEADGASKET!

hi had my headgasket done about a month or so ago, car was running fine after this until lately where its been really lumpy on start up and occasionally gettin loss of power sometimes. its also drinking coolant like there is no tomorrow!
looked at the car today and have noticed the mayo like substance in the oil cap!! so i'm thinking the headgasket has gone again!! is this possible after it only being replaced a month or so ago??
anyone else got any other ideas?

unless there is a leak in the cooling system no coolant should be used. Sounds as if it was unsuccessful, where did you have it done?

ok, got it done at a local mechanics garage, hes a genuine guy, cars going down there tonight and he'll sort it out.
