Headlamp washer jets

Hi,

Ive bought a replacement headlamp washer jet for my MK2 172 (some plonker reversed into the old one and snapped the end off). Looks like the old one should just prise off and the new one push on, but it doesnt want to budge. Any tips on how this comes off?

You have to take the bumper off and replace the whole unit, It will only take the boys at Renault half an hour.

no problem - Ive worked out how to prise out the little ball that directs the jet. Thats the only bit thats gone missing.

I was thinking about getting another one because some cat/tiger/lion thing has taken a liking to mine and started eating it! Not sure Ill bother if its hassle to fit them.

You have to buy the whole unit as one, but I just popped the ball out of the new one and popped it into the one on my car that had it missing, it has never popped back out again and that was 6 months ago or so.
