Headlight bulbs

I have taken my mates headlight bulb out of his 1.6 to fit new bulbs, does anyone remember which way you are supposed to turn them to lock them back in? Thanks

Why not try them clockwise, if that doesn't work, then try turning them anti-clockwise...Simples

they are fiddly, just keep trying kerry, the big lug on the bulb has to be at the top.

I have done it now there just isn't enough room and for future reference they go anti-clockwise to lock them back in
