Headlight Differences...

whats the difference between 2001 onwards headlights with grey or black surrounds?

is it just the black was introduced on the newer e.g 04/05 models? or is the wiring different?

Think black was on the older cars, grey was on the newer. Mine's an '05 with grey from new.

ah ok, think the black looks slightly better, but just wanted to know if there was any difference other than colour.

Black was 2001- 2003
Grey was 2004 53 plate - 2006
